Many people are not comfortable getting support from local organizations as they are afraid to be seen, no fear of that here! www.POZ.ca POZ Canada is a site for Canada to learn about HIV/AIDS or for HIV+ Canadians to get support while meeting others. A multi award winning site. This is an imortant site as Canada needs more prevention, in 1999, there were only 29 Canadian HIV/AIDS (only) web sites found on Google and none of them offered chat rooms! We had the first live/online HIV+ Chat support group in Canada!

W.H.A.K. World HIV/AIDS Knowledge (WHAK) is a site in development where u will basically click a Country name to be taken to a list of corresponding sites, this will be done using the technology provided by my HIV/AIDS Search Engine. This domain name poz.ca was previously an illegal porn site that I bought when expired, hopefully I can remain holding this domain to stop it's abuse, thankfully it only costs $30/year. I have not put alot of effort into this domain yet, maybe I will sell it some day or further develope once a part time employee can be hired.

www.HIV-AIDS-Meds.com HIV/AIDS Meds Database Not made yet, but future plan is to have a searchable database for medication details only. From interactions to side effects. I have started making the database, I foresee this project being complete summer of 2004. Also there will be a user login area for members to keep their keep track of their stats, meds and effects.

Sometimes my/our web sites are down (internet down, server problems, web congestion, another old part gave out, domain name changes, etc) as it is a tough job keeping 2 internet lines and 2 servers running all the time on my own (no help, plus I have 10,000 pages to manage/update and create more, about 1,000 emails a day to read, alot for 1 single person). I encourage our POZ members to join our alternate Yahoo, ICQ or MSN online groups in event of my sites (above) being unreachable. Our uptime (about 85-90% now, was 50-60% before backup internet line) is much better since we now have a back up internet line. Will be even better once some computer upgrades are done.

We are trying are hardest to protect our members from unwanted advertising (spam), AIDS deniers (claim HIV is fake), fake cures and electronic fraud! We have posted a page to help you report (and track/identify) these scams/spams HERE. We will now also send an electronic bill to these abusers and split it with each abused member, read more on our "SPAM Policy". Our goal is to set new president cases in Canada, 1 pending trial already!
